The new Pulsar Thermion 2 thermal vision sight is a Pulsar bestseller. These are the first thermal imaging sights to combine modern thermal imaging technology with the traditional look of a daytime scope. All elements are electronically built into the classic body, buttons and knobs are placed discreetly in places where the reticle and backlight adjustment turrets normally are.
The sights are based on a sensor with a resolution of 384×288 pixels and enhanced NETD thermal sensitivity of less than 40mK, which guarantees more precise recognition of details even in unfavorable weather conditions.
Thermion 2, compared to the previous version, has a lens with greater F1.0 aperture, which significantly improves the quality of observation.
The Thermion 2 XQ38 thermal imaging telescope has an optical magnification of 2.5x and can be digitally increased up to 10x, and thanks to the high sensitivity and high-quality lens made of germanium, it allows you to detect an object the size of a human figure at a distance of up to 1350 meters.
KEY FEATURES OF PULSAR THERMION:
Improved 40mK sensor
Advanced NETD sensor with a sensitivity of less than 40 mK guarantees precise recognition of details even in unfavorable weather conditions such as rain and fog, even when the temperature contrast is small. Minimal temperature differences are clearly visible.
Easy to mount on the weapon
The body of the device is built on the basis of a standard 30mm tube, thanks to which the mounting on the weapon is simple and quick.
Modern microbolometers
Equipped with modern high resolution 384×288 (17 µm pixel) in XQ versions and 640×480 (17 µm pixel) in XP versions
Quick start
The launch time of the device has been reduced to 3 seconds compared to the older sights.
High mechanical resistance: 6000J
Yukon / Pulsar products are the only ones that provide resistance to large calibers – they can be freely used on weapons with a caliber of 375H & H or 9.3×64. Most of the competing products are recommended for the maximum caliber .308 Win
4x digital zoom
Pulsar Thermion 2 XQ38 offers a digital zoom of up to 4x, thanks to which we have a magnification of 2.5x to 10x.
Waterproof
The device is IPX7 waterproof, which means it is completely waterproof (immersed in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes)
Simple operation
Intuitive operation combined with modern technology gives us an effective, but also comfortable to use thermal imaging sight.
Target nets
Thermion 2 is equipped with electronically displayed reticles. The internal memory contains 10 types with different shapes in 4 different colors. Thanks to this, we can choose the optimal mesh for the existing conditions.
Built-in video / photo recorder with 16 GB memory
The viewfinder has a built-in video and photo recorder with a capacity of 16 GB. The microUSB port allows you to transfer recordings from the Imager to a computer.
Powered by two independent B-Pack Mini batteries
In order to extend the working time, Thermion 2 has been equipped with two batteries: one APS3 is built into the body, the other quickly removable APS 2 with a capacity of 2000 mAh mounted in the place of the turret. Additionally, thanks to the additional cover included in the set, the device can be powered using optional APS3 batteries. The sight can also be powered with a classic powerbank.
Display OFF
The “Display OFF” function instantly turns on / off the display without turning off the device, which saves battery power and makes it easier to remain unnoticed in the dark.
Frost-resistant AMOLED display with HD resolution of 1024×768 pixels
The high resolution HD display (1024×768 pixels) combined with high resistance to extreme temperatures ensures that the device will not disappoint us even in the most difficult conditions
Extreme range
The use of high-quality germanium optics ensures a detection range of up to 1350m
Five individual ballistic profiles – each with 10 distances
Thanks to five profiles, we can use the sight on different weapons, and thanks to the distance memory, we can easily change the distance of the shot.
Picture in Picture mode
The “Picture in Picture” mode allows you to enlarge the central part of the picture in a specially displayed window. The additional window only takes up 10% of the total display area.
Color palettes
Now, also in thermal imaging sights, different color palettes of the image are available – the user has up to 8 versions at their disposal (White Hot, Black Hot, Hot Red, RedMonochrome, Rainbow, Ultramarine, Violet, Sepia)
Wide temperature range
Thermion 2 sights can be used at any time of the year – the device works in the range from -25 to +50 degrees Celsius.
Stadiametric rangefinder
Thanks to the parametric rangefinder, we can easily determine the distance to a target of a known size.
